EFG International x Cité Gestion
Our story continues, stronger than ever!
With over 15 years of notable growth in private banking in Switzerland, Cité Gestion is delighted to join forces with the EFG Group, one of the largest banking and wealth management firms in Switzerland. The two entities share common values of entrepreneurship, service quality, and an open architecture of investment products.
EFG will enable its subsidiary, Cité Gestion, to accelerate its growth and expand its range of services and solutions for its clients. Cité Gestion will operate as an independent entity, retaining its name, governance, and teams. Through this alliance, Cité Gestion is positioning itself at the forefront of the Swiss independent wealth management market.
"With its unique multi-custodian service for UHNWI, the acquisition of Cité Gestion strengthens EFG's presence and capabilities in its domestic Swiss market, while aligning with the Group's development strategy and entrepreneurial business model at a global level." – Giorgio Pradelli, CEO of EFG International
"Through this collaboration, we can offer our clients increased access to financing solutions and investment capabilities. This will allow our bankers to maintain their independence while benefiting from an expanded international reach. Cité Gestion will therefore continue its remarkable growth within a sustainable framework." – Guy Barbey, CEO of Cité Gestion
*The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
